Metro, Victor passed away on Jan. 27, 2012 at home with family after battling Lou Gerhigs Disease. Victor was a lifetime resident of Flint, MI. He was a truck driver and was a wonderful provider for his family. Victor is survived by family that he loved more than life itself. Left to cherish his memory are daughter Jodecia (Erek) Bunn, grandchildren Tyesha, Erecka, Anthony and Josiah, stepdaughters April and Angel Rainey and their children Brandon, Matthew, Aaliyah, and Justin, sister Florence (Val) Sherlock. Victor was also loved by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Hart, Gerald W. age 80 of Flint, died Jan. 22, 2012 at Hurley Hospital. Memorial service will be held 3:30 pm, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at First Wesleyan Church, 3825 Davison Rd. Flint. Pastor Thom VerWys officiating. Cremation has taken place. Gerald is survived by his wife Nora (Green) Hart, sons Robert Gerald and Charles Wesley Hart.

Tomas Torres of Burton, age 80 died Jan. 16, 2012 at his residence. Direct cremation has taken place at the request of his family.

Russell, Gloria A. L. age 60 of Flint died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint. Family will receive visitors from 12-7 pm Monday, Jan. 16, at the funeral home. Pastor Frank Yount officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by daughter Jill Russell, son James Russel and grandson Justin Zuchowski.

Crawford, Mabel Irene of Kalamazoo,formerly of Burton, died Sat. Jan. 7, 2012 in Kalamazoo, MI. Funeral service will be held 1 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 10 at South Mundy United Methodist Church, 10018 S. Linden Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. There will be no visitation before service. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastors Hal Phillips, Kathy Phillips and Donald Phillips. Mabel retired from A.C. Sparkplug, she was a member of The Eastern Star and the ABWA in which she was twice Woman of the Year. Mabel was a loving mother and absolutely loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Madden, Elizabeth J - Age 90, of Burton, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, at home.There will be a one day viewing and funeral service on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 10am until time of service at 7pm at The New Dawn Chapel, 1569 E. Elba Rd. Lapeer, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Elizabeth was born Christmas day in 1921 in Barberton, Ohio. Elizabeth married Joseph Madden on June 14, 1947. She lived in Burton for 62 years, spending her time loving and raising six children, 14 grand children and 17 great grand children.

Murray, Deneen age 51 passed away Dec 20, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Arrangements pending.

Caruso, Priscilla "Patty" passed away Dec. 21, 2011 at Brians House, with family members by her side. Pat was born March 24, 1937 in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late John and Jane (Prichard) Sanzone. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Flint, MI. Pat will be missed by her family but more fondley by her children, James Munson of PA, Karla and Bill Hickerson of TN, Todd Munson, of AZ and Ann Munson of OR. She left 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her grandchildren and great grandchildren she leaves 3 siblings, John C.

McMenemy Sr., Michael James of Burton age 82 passed away Dec. 9 ,2011. Family has requested cremation.
